All Hail The Cosmetics Cop

cosmetics

As a TV beauty expert I get sent a lot of products to try, test and review.

Way before I was ever blessed with this amazing job of “beautification” I was able to still receive a “beauty education” before even putting a single drop of anything on my skin.

I relied on one source to get the no-filtered scoop on what is really behind those cute containers, catchy names and never-ending promises of a wrinkle-free life.  I am talking about getting the REAL DEAL on the product itself.

It became my “can’t do without and not even going to try without” beauty bible called “Don’t Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me.”

Cosmetics 1I wanted to scream THANK YOU Paula Begoun from the mountain tops!

Paula is also known as the “Cosmetics Cop” and she gives you the lowdown on beauty products from drugstores, home shopping, department stores and catalogs.

She has helped millions of women worldwide go to the cosmetics counter with the confidence and knowledge to take the absolute best care of their skin. cosmetics 3

Paula not only helped me shop smarter but also easier with a simple click on my iPad through Beautypedia.com, an online version of “Don’t Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me.” The site is a product review database that covers over 45,000 products from more than 300 brands.

cosmetics 5So what if the #1 source and expert on the good, the bad and the ugly of beauty products decided to develop her own line of skin care and cosmetics?

Duh. No brainer.

I am absolutely in love with Paula’s Choice.

As proved through the intricate research and reviews on Beautypedia a higher price tag doesn’t necessarily always mean a better product. Flashy, cute and luxurious packaging doesn’t guarantee what lies within is going to do the trick. At the end of the day I just want product that delivers.

My personal stock of Paula’s Choice

Paula’s Choice is proof of Paula’s commitment to customer advocacy and education, and that remains a core element of the philosophy and product development.

Plus it is made in the USA, non-irritating and something very important to me No Animal Testing. I am shocked at how many companies test on animals (you will see it right on Beautypedia.com).

Bonuses include exceptional customer service, excellent product guidance through live chat, a 100% money back guarantee and an incredible research team including industry experts Bryan Barron and Desiree Stordahl.

cosmetics 7I use the Resist Advanced Kit an absolute powerhouse combo and secret weapon against wrinkles, fine lines and sun damage. I honestly don’t know what I did before this kit (besides shell out tons of money on products and treatments that never got these results).

Don’t fret when you see this super popular kit will be back in March.  Explore the products and order some individually to get started.

I was over the moon when Paula was on QVC with 2 new treatments that I have incorporated into my routine (and love). They are the Clinical 1 % Retinol Treatment and the Resist Skin Firming Line Minimizer.

The 1% retinol reverses free-radical damage that causes skin to age and the Vitamin C & peptides firm skin & smooth deep wrinkles & fine lines. Trust me this potent blend refines pore size & evens skin tone delivering powerful results!  The Minimizer stimulates collagen production & elastin repair.

A girl has to have options when it comes to keeping those wrinkles away. She always has a choice. Great skin shouldn’t be a luxury.

You really can have the best skin of your life AND become a savvy & smarter shopper at the same time!

  1. Fantastic! I am going to give this a try. Your skin always looks amazing and I am so tired of spending big bucks for products that don’t do all they claim. Great post.

  2. Looks great and promising. I have heard of the cosmetics cop before but didn’t know who exactly was. I am going to try some of these. You are a great spokesperson as your skin looks great 24/7.

  3. Cool. I also am so tired of spending so much money on high end products that claim to do so much. Some do work but others just provide so so results. Going to check these out too.

  4. Hey this finally sounds like the answer to my being disappointed with big brand products. Just want something that works. Will look into. I also am shocked by how many companies test on animals.
